Tschetter's Original is small batch artisanal flavored moonshine and whiskey produced and bottled in Raleigh, NC. Steeped in iconoclastic immigrant family roots, my fifth generation grandfather, Paul Tschetter, is said to have originally concocted a homespun dandelion honey libation in the 1870s that remained forgotten until recently resurfacing in long lost family lore.

 

Borrowing from old world Slavic tradition of self-distilled "samohon" or what is called moonshine in the United States, we have modernized the simple form with new world flavors, smoothness and sophistication.  Simply drink in the refreshing honey, citrus, and ginger tones over ice or enjoy a more elaborate cocktail of design. Either way, we think you’ll find the experience original.  (And yes, it’s pronounced like the cheese.)
